Job Title: Academic Tutor (Grades 6–12) 

Job Type: Part-Time / Contract / Flexible Hours

Position Overview:
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Academic Tutors to join our team to support students in grades 6–12 across a variety of subjects, including Math, English, Science, and Social Studies. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to help students succeed. Preference will be given to candidates with an Ontario Teacher’s Certificate (OCT) or those in the process of obtaining it.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small group academic tutoring for students in grades 6–12
• Tailor lesson plans and teaching strategies to meet individual student needs and curriculum standards
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Communicate regularly with parents and the Campass team regarding student development
• Maintain accurate records of sessions and student performance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a relevant subject area 
• Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification preferred (or currently in progress)
• Experience teaching or tutoring students in grades 6–12
• Strong knowledge of the Ontario Curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, professional, and committed to student success
